As an experienced Executive, Board Director and Chair, I provide business/executive and leadership consulting. I work with leaders, corporate organisations and government agencies wanting to transform their business or leadership teams to drive success.
My expertise and approach has been developed over 20+ years working for iconic organisations. This includes media, healthcare, ICT and working with government organisations- building and leading teams in senior roles, thinking outside-the-box.
I have translated this experience into business consulting and coaching for executives, setting the framework for strategy, facilitating workshops, and helping leadership teams to accelerate business outcomes.
A proud mother of two amazing young women, I live near Canberra with two pups and a very helpful hubby!

Nicole is currently the Chief of Impact and Innovation for Diabetes Australia. She is also the Board Chair, Painaustralia and a Non-Executive Director for the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA). She works with the Trans Tasman Business Circle as Canberra Chair, facilitating Canberra events.
Nicole has worked with CEO's and senior leaders on business transformation and customer centric business outcomes in the government, healthcare and business sectors.
Born in Australia, Nicole studied and graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 1993 with a Bachelor degree in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Biochemistry, beginning her career as a research scientist in the USA in protein biochemistry and cancer research. She moved back to Australia and was awarded the Dora Lush scholarship for biomedical research to undertake PhD studies at the Sydney University faculty of Medicine/ Children's Medical Research and HIV Gene-Therapy. Nicole was awarded Lipton's Team successful women under 30 award, in 1997, and followed her passion into science and medical communications. and television and print as a producer and journalist at Channel Seven, Beyond, Reed-Elsevier, Pharmacy Guild and the Australian Consolidated Press publications.
This led to niche consulting in healthcare, and Nicole pivoted into ICT, joining Telstra in 2001, recognising its importance underpinning Australia’s success domestically and globally.
Nicole has since gained extensive experience driving strategy, transformation and growth for iconic organisations within health, ICT, critical industries and working with governments, at Telstra, Hewlett-Packard and Medibank Private (1800RESPECT). She returned to Telstra in 2020, leading the Canberra branch for Telstra Enterprise as an Executive and Group Owner responsible for Federal Government and National Security.
Through all her roles Nicole spearheaded outcomes at a whole-of-organisation level through executive roles in specialised areas including corporate affairs and government relations, chief of staff, sales leadership, marketing, product, and general management roles.
She is highly respected within the industry and by her customers and clients. Nicole is known for identifying and shaping new markets and finding areas of transformational growth, operationalising the implementation for organisations from an industry and capability lens. Her ability to think outside-the box and solve problems has been pivotal to her success.
Her sound understanding of emerging technology and cybersecurity and its application and importance to government, critical infrastructure and businesses underpins her future focused deep strategic thinking and growth mindset.
Nicole's coaching and mentoring style is distinctive and tailored to executives and senior leaders and teams, and she enjoys coaching young women and people from diverse backgrounds.
